PHILOSOPHY

To bring the best of Vintage & Contemporary Furniture, Fixtures, and Accessories to a global market.  We source our treasures from Japan, Eastern Europe, and across the USA.  Our desire is to save, restore (when necessary and appropriate) and showcase the best of design.  We also want to provide a resource for history and education.  Many vintage designers and manufacturers are obscure because most pieces are not marked and there are many variations, copies, and outright fakes.  For each of our pieces we will provide as much background and supporting documentation as we can so that buyers can make informed decisions before making an investment to live with a beautiful object. 

Vintage

Furniture from both well known designers like Bertoia, Eames, Saarinen....to pieces whose creator has been lost to history.  

Contemporary

scottmaki & co works with the best young designers around the world to bring their dreams to market.  Our experience in global sourcing and design for manufacturability as well as our vintage expertise allows us to identify and assist the next generation of creators.
