This Eero Saarinen Tulip Base side table was designed in 1957 and manufactured in 1978, delivered to a stationary store in Houston Texas based on the original label on the underside of the top. At some point in it's life someone accidentally knocked it over (perhaps one too many cocktails at a swinging '70s party?) and damaged the edge of the walnut top. We have professionally and beautifully restored the edge to it's former curvaceous self. (if you want to see the before photos and video of how it was repaired check or IG and website) The base is heavy aluminum with a few small nicks as shown in the photos. (we could have it powder coated if you want but we think that would ruin the charm and stories behind a beautiful vintage piece like this.)
